So my presentation line will be short and concise:

Sorry for my English. (We’ll talk about it later)

Now that I put that out – and I probably feel less judged – let me tell you a little bit about me, well about us.

There are two of us on this side of the screen. Well only one writing (that’s me), but all the pictures you will see on this space have been taken by the both of us. And let’s be clear, my partner in life is way better than I am taking pictures.

So who are we?
We are an Argentinian couple, old enough and young enough to let life be our playground. We came to New Zealand six years ago and fell in love with this place. We fell so deeply in love with New Zealand that we decided to stay and to make it our home.

So there you are, my presentation line makes sense. English is not my mother tongue and while I write a blog in Spanish, which a love, I decided to make my life somehow more complicated and started this one in English.

Once upon a time, we decided to live our lives making the most of it. Today struggling with grammar and idioms, I decided to share a little bit of that with you.

This blog is a new adventure, an adventure that pushes me out of my comfort zone. So I hope you enjoy reading this broken English space, as much as I enjoy giving it to you.

Let’s talk about Yugen.

Yugen, this untranslatable word from Japanese, means a profound and mysterious sense of the beauty of the universe. Have you ever felt tears coming up when contemplating our marvellous world? This blog is about Yugen in life, that awareness of the universe that triggers emotional responses too deep and powerful for words.

For us; travelling, hiking and wandering are portals to Yugen and hopefully, through this space, we will be able to share some of those magical experiences with you.
